Ruby Lee Freeman

She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Education from San Jose State University.

Ruby worked 30 years as an Industrial Trainer and Educator with Lockheed Missile and Space company of San Jose, CA, where she used her NASA certifications to qualify and certify assemblers to NASA and Lockheed standards.

Dancing, reading, painting, drawing in charcoal, and collecting miniatures are hobbies that Ruby enjoyed as well as her love for animals, especially her 22 pound cat “Sylvester”.

Ruby was preceded by parents Patrick Harrison Ezell and Frances Octava Bowerman, her son David Leon Smith (deceased), and survived by her 4 sisters June, Roberta, Gerry, Charlotte, and her brother Jim , and her 3 children Steven, Cindy, and Lisa, and 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life, will be held on Sept. 28th at 1:00 pm at her daughter’s home in Stockton, CA
