Rosemary I. Ruffini entered peacefully into eternal life on May 2, 2012. She was born in Gridley, CA on February 7, 1922 to Paul and Ester Wagner. Rosemary graduated from Sacramento High School in 1939. She worked for and retired from Laura Scudders in 1984. Granny Rose traveled the world. She visited Thailand, Costa Rica, Mexico, Germany, Austria, Poland and the Czech Republic. She traveled to Norway and Hawaii five times and vacationed with family members coast to coast. Rosemary was a member of Church of the Presentation, Sons of Norway, Native Daughters, Red Hat Ladies and Teamsters Retirees. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Norman and Adrian Wagner and sister Bernadine Redman. Rosemary is survived by her sister Francis Wiley of Sacramento, her children Sharon Bowden (Richard) of Elk Grove, Jack (Diane) Wood of Stockton, Pamela (Forrest) Frazier of Moorseville, NC, and Lori (Jim) Adams of Stockton. She is grandmother to Marty Moreno of Sacramento, Steven (Karen) Moreno of Sacramento, Julie (Richard) Evans of Lodi, Jeff Frazier of Cary, NC, Alicia (Jim) Beresford of Oakland, Eric Wood of Stockton, and Nicole Stockstill of Stockton. Rosemary is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, one of which is her Godson, Steven Meyer. She is adored by her family and many, many friends. We love and will miss you granny! A Visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary 809 N. California St. in Stockton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Church of the Presentation on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM. A private committal will be held in Gridley, CA.
