Rose,101, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 22, 2018. She was born the youngest of nine children to the late Maria Theresa Carpino and Luigi Louis Miniaci on April 20, 1916 in Stockton, CA. Even though she didn’t graduate from high school she kept her mind sharp by playing cross word puzzles. She was an avid knitter, loved to fish, make ceramic pieces, and enjoy family time. She was a 100 % Italian and homemade ravioli’s was her specialty. She was a member of the Lady Oriental Shrine of Northern America.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and loving husband Thomas Nelson Clark. She is survived by her daughter, Claudia (Robert) Keyes from Manteca, CA; grandchildren: Chuck (Laura) Keyes from Manteca, Lori Elliott from Stockton, great-grandchildren: Bobby (Kodie) Keyes from Darrington, WA, and great-great grandchildren: Aurora and Clay Keyes from Darrington, WA and many nieces and nephews. Rose was adored and loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Visitation and Chapel Service will be held at De Young Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton on March 30, 2018. Visitation will start from 10am to 12noon and a Chapel Service will start at 12 noon followed by a Graveside Service at Stockton Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shrines Children Hospital.
