Robert Z. Rodriguez age 73 passed away after an unexpected but courageous 38 day battle. He was born on January 21, 1941 in Stockton and passed into eternity on July 7, 2014. He was a fifty year construction worker and a member of the Local 73 Labors Union. Robert loved to travel the world and enjoyed being around his grandchildren and Barbequing, watching his favorite teams San Francisco Giants and 49ers, watching his westerns and listening to his country music. He is preceded in death by his son Fernando Rodriguez. Robert leaves behind his loving wife Mary of 55years; sons Robert Jr. and Arthur; daughters Patricia Alejandre and Annette Trejo; Ten grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Viewing will be held on July 16 and July 17 from 4 p.m. to 8p.m. with a Rosary on July 17 at 6 p.m. at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N. California St. in Stockton. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on July 18, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Cathedral of the Annunciation, 400 W. Rose St. in Stockton. Committal will follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
