Robert Loza was born on May 29, 1949 in French Camp, CA and passed away on July 20, 2020 unexpectedly at the age of 71. He was the youngest child of Margaret and Enrique Loza’s five children. He is survived by his sisters, Rosemarie Rivera and Rebecca Sandoval (Adrian); daughter Melissa Ponce (Jesus); step-children Monica Armenta and Matthew Loza; grandchildren Alicia Loza, Laura Ponce, Giana Ponce, Selina Mercado, Vanessa Ponce, Arianna Armenta, Paige Loza, Jordan and Jake Loza.
He was a long-time resident of Stockton, CA and a proud graduate of Edison High School and Sacramento State University where he earned a BS in Sociology. Robert began his career with the California Youth Authority in 1975 as a Group Supervisor and after 28 years of service, he retired in 2003 from his position as the Supervising Parole Agent III of the San Jose Parole Office. Robert was a devoted family man. He enjoyed family gatherings, telling stories to his grandchildren and spending time with friends. He loved to travel and most of all riding around in his Corvette. Robert made a difference in many lives and his role as the family Patriarch will never be filled.
