Robert, 77, entered into rest on February 11, 2018. He was born to the late Ralph and Pauline Covarrubias on December 2, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty, brother Ralph, step sister Marilyn Simmons. He is survived by brother Richard Covarrubias, sister Penny Covarrubias, stepsister Rita Juarez, nephews Richard Jr., Jaime, Carlo Covarrubias and many nieces. Robert was a loving and caring brother to Penny. He worked for the US Postal Service for over 30 years. Robert was very devoted to his church and he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be Tuesday, February, 20, 2018 from 3:30-6:00 pm followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 203 Washington Street, Stockton. Committal to follow at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
