Rafaela Zamudio Guzman

Rafaela is survived by her children Benjamin Guzman Jr of Stockton and Leticia Cole of Sacramento along with their spouses Janine Guzman and Richard Cole; grandchildren Benj Guzman, Lisa Guzman Ortiz, Jason Barrett, Eric Guzman, Taylor Guzman Dye, Liliana Guzman, Cameron Cole and Candace Cole, along with 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Armando Guzman of Stockton, who is survived by Theresa Goin.

Rafaela was born on December 2, 1933 in Mexico. She was married and raised 3 children after moving to Stockton, California in the early 50’s.

She did work for California Canners and Growers. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking for her family, and caring for her grandchildren. She was loved by everyone she met; she was kind, patient, and loving.

A private gravesite funeral is scheduled on December 21, 2020 at 2pm at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery in Stockton, California. A Clergy Honorarium will officiate the ceremony. The family would like to thank the Riverwood Healthcare Center caregivers and staff for her care.
