Phyllis DeChance McNally Our dear mom, Phyllis DeChance McNally passed away peacefully on July 28, 2016. Phyllis was born in Butte, Montana to James and Margaret Slattery. She was the youngest of 3 children and predeceased by her brothers Edward and Robert Slattery. Phyllis was the wife of the late Eugene DeChance until 1965 and the late Patrick McNally until 2008. Phyllis was a past member of The Church of the Presentation, Philomathean Club, Stockton Opera Guild, Stockton Golf and Country Club, Dameron Hospital Auxiliary and Stockton Symphony League. She was also past president of XI Nu Beta Stockton Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and past vice president of XI Eta Chapter in Kalispell, Montana. Phyllis is survived by her 3 children: Robert DeChance (Kay), Ronald DeChance (Mary), Barbara DeChance Sexton and stepson Brian McNally. Phyllis is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Ron DeChance (Cindy), Sean DeChance, Terri DeChance, Scott DeChance (Nancy) and Robin Calderon (Daniel), and Andree Sexton, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and dear friend Vera Turner. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Laurel Pointe at O' Conner Woods and Optimal Hospice Care for their kindness and care. In remembrance of Phyllis, memorial contributions may be made to O' Conner Woods, to the attention of Fund Development, 3400 Wagner Heights Road, Stockton CA 95209. Private services will be held.
