He is preceded in death by his parents Chester James Staggs and Hazel Ann Farris. Michael Staggs is survived by his wife of 53 years Linda Staggs. He is survived by his children: his son Ronald Staggs and his wife Sherry Ma and granddaughter Nicole Staggs; his daughter Lisa Banuelos and her husband Rudy Banuelos and granddaughter Alexis Cotton and her husband Joseph Cotton; his son Michael George Staggs and his wife Nadia Ustáriz and grandchildren Xavier Staggs, Cecelia Staggs, Verah Weil, and Maia Weil; his son Thomas Aaron Staggs his wife Tina Staggs and grandson Quinn Michael Bo Staggs; his sister Linda Biffath and many nieces and nephews.
Mike was a business owner of M&L Vacuums. He started his own business in March 1991 and retired in August 2013. For many years M&L Vacuums held a canned food drive that benefitted the homeless community in Manteca.
Mike was part of the Lincoln Village Homeowners Association #3 for several years. Mike was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers football team. His favorite pastimes were watching Pittsburgh Steelers football games, NASCAR races, baseball games, and any other football games. He was on a pit crew for several years at the 99 Speedway. He also enjoyed various other sporting events. He was mutually adored by his four-legged sidekick, Lizzie. Mike was a veteran in the United States Army. He loved being outside and being on the water.
Mike will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the near future.
