Michael David Hernandez, 67, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in Stockton, CA. Michael was born February 5, 1949, in French Camp, CA. and was a lifelong Stockton resident. He worked as a cook and maintenance man. He served his country for 14 years as an Army veteran and is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Hernandez and Virginia Robles; and his brother Richard Hernandez. He is survived by his children, Edward Talamantes, Felice Hernandez, Sandra Hernandez, Michelle Hernandez, and Catherine Constancio-Hernandez; his sisters, Maria Lopez and Gina Mendoza-Mayfield; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2017, at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W McCabe Road, Santa Nella, CA 95322. A Reception will follow at 2 p.m., at Cancun Restaurant, 135 E Miner Ave, Stockton, CA 95202.
