My Dear Brother,

It's still hard for me to process the fact that you are no longer here. I'm going to miss your calls asking for your 20 crabs. I guess I'm going to have to give them to Dave & Rich. May you rest in peace. Say hi to mom and Mikie for me. Love ya brother----- Cin

Dear Gomes Family: (Mr. Gomes, Emily, Steve, Dave, Cindy, Carole, Laurie, Marlene, Jeannie, Christine, and Rich)

We were so stunned and shocked to hear about the passing of your dear brother, Mike! He was much, much too young to leave this world. Hopefully, his last days on earth were calm and peaceful, and please know how deeply sorry we are for your loss. 

You’re in our thoughts and prayers as you maneuver this difficult time in your lives. Please hold onto the special memories you all shared growing up with each other. I know I have very special memories in my heart growing up with the Gomes family. I’ll never forget the words of your beloved mother, “What’s one more, Terry?”

Condolences to the Gomes family on the loss of this sweet little brother.  We grew up together in Milpitas, on the same street, for the 9 years my family lived on Shenandoah.  We probably had 100 kids on our block and he was always a fun “little kid.”   He will be missed.  May Michael Rest In Peace and we can be certain he’s happy to see his parents again.

My heart and prayers go out to the extended Gomes Family during this time of loss.

Lord God and Heavenly Father,
As you always do, give peace in knowing that there is a grieving process we go thru when we lose a loved one.  Keep the Gomes family tightknit and banded together to support each other and give them confidence in knowing that the pain they experience today in Mike's loss can be replaced with happy memories at the end of this journey.  Let them rejoice in all the years that they had with him on earth.  They can all be assured that You will walk them and Mike, giving them all strength along the way as they lean on  You and Your promises.  Amen.
