Maria Cortez, age 76, of Stockton, California passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. She was predeceased by her spouse John Cortez. She is survived by her sons, Angel Ortiz, Juan Cortez wife Andie Cortez, Javier Cortez wife Roxy Cortez and her grandchildren Catalina Cortez, Javier Cortez, Joseph Cortez, Lucia Cortez, and Sofia Cortez.
A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N California St, Stockton, California 95202. A rosary will occur Monday, May 15, 2023 at 5:00 PM, 601 N California St, Stockton, California 95202. A mass of christian burial will occur Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 731 S. Cardinal Avenue, Stockton, California.
