Margarita Cazares, 87, was born in Donna, TX, December 14, 1930. Margarita passed away on May 28th, 2018 at her residence in Stockton, CA. She was an active and dedicated member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church. She taught catechism, helped in the annual bazaar, and served as Eucharist minister.
She is preceded in death by her husband Manuel, son Daniel, parents Jose & Alviria Hernandez, great-grandson Derrick Busby Jr., and siblings Dominga Hernandez, Dolores Ramirez & Albert Hernandez. She is survived by daughters Irene Garcia, Josephine Tabios (Mark), Margaret Cazares, Ramona Wakeman (Tim) & Elvira Mejia (Fernando), sons Manuel Cazares & Robert Cazares, 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, siblings Maria Aguirre, Isabel Ruiz, Dominga Solis, Linda Martinez, Helen Duran, Eva Hernandez, Carol Ramirez, & brothers Jose, Larry, & Mario Hernandez.

Visitation will be held on June 6, 2018 from 12-6pm, Rosary at 6pm at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St., Stockton, CA. Mass will be on June 7, 2018 at 10am at St. Mary’s Church 203 E. Washington, Stockton CA. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, 719 E. Harding Way, Stockton CA.
