Manuel J. Camacho Sr., 85, passed away on November 21, 2023, in Stockton, California. He was born on March 11, 1938, in Woodland, CA, to the late Jose Camacho and Anastacia Mendoza. Manuel is survived by his loving children: Virginia Aguirre (Benjamin), Manuel Camacho Jr, Maria Orozco (Ruben), Anthony Camacho (Monique), Mary Camacho, Troy Camacho (Raquel), Renee Camacho; his siblings: Ramona J. Moreno (Ray), Theresa Nunez and his loving companion: San Juana Rodriguez. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Camacho and sister, Linda Calderon.
Manuel was a devoted father and grandfather. He adored his 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandkids. Manuel had a passion for golf and enjoyed spending time on the green, honing his skills and sharing laughs with friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. followed by a rosary at 5:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Cathedral of the Annunciation, 400 W. Rose Street, Stockton. A followed by a committal service at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery, Stockton.
