Longino "Lon" V. Rodriguez, 80, of Stockton, CA was born in Ft. Stockton, TX to Quintin & Manuela V. Rodriguez who died when he was a child. He moved to Stockton in 1965 where he met his wife, Mary Helen Galindo, who precedes him in death. He worked as a Sheep Shearer and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He is survived by his children, Manuela Arevalo of Stockton, Blanca (Mark) Padilla of Alpine, TX, Quintin Rodriguez and Loni (Jimmy Jr.) Hill also of Stockton, his grandchildren, Benjamin (Valerie Romero) Rodriguez, Adriana (Lester) Ferreira of Stockton, Sonya Flores of El Paso, TX and Robert D. (Monica) Flores of Alpine, TX, Quintin Jr., Xavier, Freddy, Quintin I, Benjamin, Zacariah, Lucas Rodriguez, Mya Mary Hill of Stockton, great-grandchildren, Mariah Champion, Audrena & Madelyn Ferreira, Leilanie Romero-Heald, all of Stockton, Savannah Torres & Robbie T. Flores of Alpine, TX and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, May 1st from 1pm -6pm, Rosary to follow. Services will be held at St. Linus Church on Wednesday, May 2nd at 10am. He will be laid to rest at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
