Julia Elizabeth Van Winkle, 83 of Stockton passed away in the comfort of her home on Sunday. Julia was born on June 22, 1931 in Stockton and was a lifelong resident. Julie enjoyed going to the races at 99 Speedway and especially loved going to the click it, and went every chance she could. Julia was a homemaker for over sixty years and loved her family with all her heart and soul. She is preceded in death by her husband of over forty years, Cecil "Rip" Elden Van Winkle, and two of her sons Donald Keller and Richard Adair
Julia is survived by her son Randy Adair, grandchildren, Aimee and Stacey Adair, Jamie Keller, Ricky Adair Schenk, and Misty Wagenman all of Stockton. Rachele Adair of Elk Grove, and Nicole Adair of Carbondale Colorado, her great grandchildren, Danyelle and Johnna Garrison, Nicolas Parsons, Samuel Nevarez III, Angel Wagenman, Mariah Wagenman all of Stockton, Conor and Sean Adair of Elk Grove, Devin DiAmbrosio, Aurora, and Sylas Payne of Carbondale CO and two nieces Sharon and Cecilia Van Winkle.
Viewing will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Thursday, April 30th at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary.
Services are Friday May 1st at 10:00 am at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Mortuary, 809 N California St. Stockton, CA 95202
Burial immediately following services at Cherokee Memorial Cemetery in Lodi.
The family would like to invite friends to a Celebration of Life at Julia's home 2311 Finland Ave, Stockton, CA 95205 after the burial service.
Julia will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
