Joseph Flores

June 8, 1940 - October 14, 2016

On October 14, 2016, Joseph Flores passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. He was born in Jackson, CA and settled in Stockton, CA working for over 40 years as a roofer.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years Helen Flores, his children Rosemary Varela (Benny),

Lorraine Rocha (Joseph), grandchildren Joseph F. Rocha Jr. (Maria), Lori Rocha, Benjamin Varela Jr, Victor Varela, great grandchildren Jacob Joseph Rocha and Natalie Rocha. Brothers Gilbert and John,

sisters Margaret, Cathy, Liz, brothers-in-law Art, Alfred,

Richard and Larry Maldonado and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Gonzalo and Mary Flores, his in-laws Lupe and Rose Maldonado.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016 at DeYoung Funeral Home, 601 N. California St, Stockton, CA.
