It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John Jesse Ramirez Sr., known to many as “Chapo.” He passed unexpectedly on January 7th 2023. He was born December 26, 1963, in French Camp, Ca; the son of Apolinar Ramirez (Nevor Vigil) and Cordelia Tafoya (Mary E Vigil).
He is survived by his former spouse Cecilia Ramirez, children Jessica Ramirez, John Ramirez Jr, and Jennie Ramirez. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren who he loved dearly. As well as 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He is preceded in death by his father, step-father, his brother Ralph “Fafa” Rodriguez Jr. and sister Mary Louise Rodriguez.
A public viewing will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel; Wednesday January 25th 2-6pm
