John Emory Cain October 24, 1918 – May 13, 2015 John was born in South Heights, PA to Emory and Annie Cain. He proudly served in the Army Air Corp in the South Pacific during WW II where he was awarded an Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal with 3 bronze stars. Upon returning home he married Alberta and together they raised 3 children. The family moved to Stockton in 1962 when John was transferred to take the position of Manager of Manufacturing Services for H.H. Robertson Co. He retired after 41 yrs for the company. He was also a Certified Range Master and served in the Police Reserve for ten yrs, retiring as Captain. After retiring he enjoyed painting and traveling the country with Alberta in their RV. Special thanks go to the staff at Somerford Place for their compassionate care. He leaves behind daughter Susan (David) Pyle, son Richard (Debbie) Cain, sister Grace Lutes, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. John is preceded in death by his parents, wife Alberta and son John E. Cain Jr. Memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, May 19th at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Drive, Stockton.
