Herle L. Maynard

December 10, 1932 - September 19, 2010

Passed away peacefully at home in the early hours of September 19, 2010, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 10, 1932, in Hugo, Oklahoma. Herle was preceded in death by his wife Allie Rene Maynard and his parents Paris and Clara Maynard. Herle loved the Lord; He was raised in a Christian home and accepted the Lord at an early age.

He was employed for 25 years with the California Youth Authority as a Supervisor of Landscape and as a Fireman. He earned the respect of his supervisors, co-workers and the youth whom he taught. Herle freely shared his knowledge with others and always reached out his hand, his heart, to help someone in need. He was a devoted husband, father, friend and mentor. He will be missed more than words can say and we are heartened that he gave us enough love and strength to last several lifetimes.

During the final day, Herle was watched over by Wentford Threet and Harlan Maynard-Kendrickes. For their love and support, we will always be grateful.

A Viewing will be held Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and a Celebration of His Life will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2010, both services will be held at Frisbie-Warren & Carroll Funeral Chapel, 809 N. California St. Stockton, California 95202.
