Grace B. Guzman

Grace B. Guzman was a lifetime Stockton resident. She was born on March 5, 1936 and passed away peacefully on August 17, 2017 at the age of 81. Grace worked for the Stockton Unified School District as a Cafeteria Manager for 16 years. She enjoyed cooking big portions for family events and holidays. Grace was a supporter of St. Mary’s Assumption School. She loved to be around children and influence them in a positive way. Grace always had an open door to all the children in the neighborhood. She is preceded in death by her parents and 4 siblings. Grace is survived by her children Nina Flores (Greg), Carol Madrid (Bob), Andrew Guzman (Denise), and Aaron Guzman (Barbara), countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings Genevive Sanchez, and Raymond Benitez. DeYoung Memorial Chapel is honored to serve the Guzman family. A viewing will be held on Thursday August 24, 2017 from 9-11 am followed by a Chapel Service at 11 am at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. Stockton. Committal will be at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
