Gladys Fay Ingram passed away peacefully in Lodi, CA on Sunday, March 31st, 2019, in the presence of family. “Fay” was born on April 21st, 1932 in Plainview, TX. She moved with her family to California in 1939 and married her husband, Gordon, in 1952. She worked as a waitress at “Ye Olde Hoosier Inn” in Stockton for thirty years. She loved gardening and children and was an avid reader. Fay was happiest when taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Stockton for many years and was a devoted Christian her entire life.
Fay was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Ingram, and daughters Jeannette Zarate and Nancy Ingram. She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Schneider; grandchildren Angela Simon, Jeffrey Zarate, Sarah Almazan, Derek Brumbaugh, Bonnie Brumbaugh, Samantha Brumbaugh, and Jack Brumbaugh, sister Katherine Coffer, and 10 great-grandchildren.
