Mr. Gerald (Jerry) Gunter, 84, passed away at his home on Friday, August 24th, 2018. He was born on August 13, 1934 and has lived a full life. He was well known for his story telling, laughter, and loving heart. His wife, Ly Gunter, was most treasured to him. He is also well respected amongst family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Ly Gunter, of 46 years and his children Melody Gunter, Cindy Baham, Thomas Gunter, and Leta Bergstrom and many grandchild and great-grand children. He is preceded in death by Thomas Leon Gunter, Jessie Gunter Jerry Ray Gunter.
Please join the family for visitation on Monday, September 3rd, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at DeYoung Memorial Chapel located at 601 N. California Street, Stockton, California 95202. A Graveside Service will take place on Tuesday, September 4th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Stockton Rural Cemetery. A lunch reception will be held at First Baptist at 3535 N. El Dorado Street, Stockton, CA 95204 following Graveside Service.
