Christina Chavez

Christina is survived by her son Coy Costa of Stockton and her sister Mary Bonilla of Fresno, CA.

She is preceded in death by her Father Santos and mother Siria as well as her brother Jill Chavez of Reedley, CA.

Christina was born on April 19, 1936 in Reedley, CA. she graduated later in life at the age of 38 with a high school diploma. In 2003 she married Jose Rodriguez an entrepreneur in real estate.

Christina was an accomplished supervisor cook II state employee at the California youth authority for 20 years. She was also dedicated to her community and passionate about her life and her friends as well as devoted to her church.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022 from 2-6pm followed by a rosary at 6pm all at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California St. Stockton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 8, 2018 at 10am at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Stockton, CA. Father Larry Machado will be officiating the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Christina’s life. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Yannica guest home for their efforts care and dedication to my mother.
