Bobbie Jean St. Mary departed this life on earth on February 20, 2024 at the age of 80 years old. She was born to Jurlwe and Raymond Walker on March 8, 1943 in Stockton, California. She was the only child of that union and the eldest of 12 siblings. She resided in California most of her life, until she moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana in 2018, then to San Antonio, Texas in 2020. During the last several years of her life, she was very happy living independently and enjoying her close friends and family, until she was called to be with her husband, Lloyd. She married Lloyd St. Mary on November 29, 1958 and remained a loving wife until his death in August 2007. During their nearly 50 years of marriage, her husband provided for the household, allowing her to remain home. She enjoyed raising her children and caring for her family.
She also enjoyed cooking, camping, shopping, fashion, and chocolate (specifically Snickers bars). But what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband, and 7 sisters and brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two children, Stanley and Juliette; daughter-in-law, Debbie; son-in-law, Johnnie; and grandchildren, Nikkole, Stanley Jr., Cierria, Tiffanie, Jaelen, Sha’Kayla, Kim, and Nathaniel; and 3 great grandchildren, Stanley III, Daeyanna LoRae, and An'iah LoRae. She also leaves to cherish her sisters Janice, Beverly, Darlene and Rae Elaine; and brother, Raymond Jr. (Ricky); two step-daughters, Elizabeth and Patricia; plus a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Bobbie will be missed by many. She will forever be remembered by her laugh, warm smile, youthful spirit, and loving heart.
