Betty Marie Wallace

Betty Marie Wallace passed away in Stockton on July 24, 2014, following a brief hospital stay. She was born on July 12, 1930 in Greenfield, Missouri to George and Lula DeHart. After relocating to Stockton in 1964, she worked at the Stockton Record, Hoover School and Eagle’s Hall until her retirement.

A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her two children she cherished, Carol Herman of Grass Valley and James Wallace of Stockton. In addition to numerous friends, she is also survived by the four grandchildren and one great grandchild she treasured: Lisa Meier of Stockton, David Wallace of Sacramento, Brook Herman of Nevada City, California, Heather Herman of Durango, Colorado, Baby Clay Desmond of Nevada City, California and brother, George Harold DeHart of Bakersfield. She was a loyal and loving mother, friend and confidante and will be missed forever. Rest in peace, my dear and beloved mom.

Services will be held at DeYoung Memorial Chapel, 601 N. California Street, Stockton on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Private interment will follow.
