Anthony Troy Johnson

Tony is survived by his parents, Rod Johnson and Joanne Harris, fiancé Debbie Knight and her daughter Maddie, children Broderick, Pierce, & Brooke Johnson, and sisters Shellie Aldama and Charlene Heidelbach.

Tony was born on June 23, 1966 in Stockton, CA. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1984 and enlisted in the Navy where he served for four years. In 1993, Tony and his father Rod founded Rod Johnson Air where he would continue to work until his sudden death. Tony married Shanna Wieneke in 1996 and would go on to have his three children with her. His children remember him as a loving and supportive father who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Tony was accomplished at sports, both as an athlete and as a fan. As a teenager, he was ranked third in the nation in racquetball and ranked first on the Navy’s racquetball team. Tony was an avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and 49er’s and those who knew him best knew that they could find him watching his favorite teams at his favorite hangout: VIP Pizza.

A memorial service is scheduled for September 25th, 2021 at 6633 Embarcadero Dr. at 2:00pm. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Tony’s life.
