On the 16th of April, Adrian L. “Sam” Sample joined our lord and savior in heaven. He was a great man, greatest father, wonderful husband and the best of friends. He proudly served 12 years in the United States Air force. That is where he met his lovely wife Terry. Shortly after leaving the Air Force, he fathered three children; Leanne, Janet and Keith Sample.
Sam was a master of the trucking industry. With his time in the industry he climbed up the ladder to become a chief operator for over 20 years. He then became an independent operator for his own business and continued to strive for another 15 years.
His kind soul and quick wit has left a lasting impression on friends and family alike. He is survived by his wife Teresa, his daughter Leanne and her husband Mike Gonigan, his daughter Janet and her husband Jim Milliron, by his son Keith and his fiancé Deborah, his grandchildren David and Donald Hubble, Samuel McMichen and his granddaughter Alyssa Gonigan.
Sam has been the most wonderful man any family can ask for. He was supportive, a leader, knowledgeable of many topics and can fix almost anything with a little elbow grease and a few swear words. His presence on this earth will be dearly missed by many.
A catholic service will be held in his honor at St. Michael’s (date/time), a celebration of life will follow the service.
