William Dillard Lipscomb

passed away on May 8, 2016. Remembrance services will

be held on May 14, 2016, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home -

Fairview Chapel at 1:00 PM, with Reverend Buford Lipscomb officiating.

A native of Bartow County, GA, Mr. Lipscomb retired from

FleetPride Inc after his diagnosis with liver cancer.

He is survived by: wife, Connie Lipscomb; daughter,

Monica Lipscomb Smith; stepsons, Christopher

Marsengill and Patrick Horton; brother, Buford Lipscomb;

sister-in-law, Ann Lipscomb; sisters, Lillian Jenkins and Donna

Lipscomb Barker; and grandchildren, Victor Smith, Savannah

Smith, Shelby Horton, Ryan Horton, Makaye Crook, Phoebe

Crook, Emily Marsengill, and Kate Marsengill.

Bill was the kind of man that everybody liked. He enjoyed poker,

Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs football. Bill loved animals,

especially his Chihuahuas. He was always ready with a smile and a joke.

Bill will be missed by his friends, coworkers, and family.

The family will receive friends from 12 PM at the funeral home.
