Randy will be dearly missed.  My cousin, Cherry, loved him so much and he treated her like a princess. He was so thoughtful, kind and would do anything in the world for you.  May you rest in peace, Randy.  Love you.

Randy had a large turn out for his funeral, so many friends and family came to show their support.  Wow, was he loved. I am praying for Randys son as I know this was hard for him, so hard to loose a parent. Randy loved you so.  Annis- as his mother You are a strong woman and I know this was so hard for you. My prayers are with you daily.  We have the comfort of knowing that Randy is present with the Lord and that is wonderful.  Cherry ...God will get you through.  Stay with us as often and as long as you would like.  I know as a sister that has lost a brother it is hard on the sisters and brothers. The Bryan family will be kept in my prayers as well as the cousins.   Randy always showed the servant attitude, always being so helpful and so HANDY.  I will miss him too.

So sorry to hear about Randy.  May the Lord give you strength and comfort.  Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Our family met Randy at Metro Heights Baptist Church. He was my son, Robert, and wife-to-be, Lisa, Sunday School teacher. That was in the early 90's. What a wonderful person Randy was and our friendship has continued. Randy & Sandy were a part of Robert's wedding. I remember the 2 of them so vividly showing their love and caring for the kids! The Bryan family has been very special to us for all these years. So sorry Randy is no longer with us, but we know where he is. Prayers fir all of you, especially, his Mom and Cherry.

There's so much to say about Randy, our families have been wonderful friends for a very long time. There's so much to tell about his big, kind heart & also some tales of Randy just being Randy. Our sons went through Kindergarten & school together. Randy was a great handy man & both of my boys rode with Mr. Randy while in school as an apprentice.  We had many get-togethers with our families & friends. My boys loved Mr. Randy. He had a huge heart for people. We were church friends going back to First Baptist Church of Ellenwood. Randy & I did music together at Lighthouse Baptist Church. He led the music & I played the piano. I laugh thinking about how many times he'd say..."how 'bout going to a lower key." He had such a deep voice & always felt most songs were too high for him. If I had a dime for every time he said that to me, I could retire! Ha! He also told me "this too shall pass." Every time I didn't want to do something or didn't like what he chose for the service, he'd tell me "this too shall pass...do it anyway." BUT...the roles were reversed when he'd sing a solo & need me to lower his key. I'd always tell him I could make him sound good or make him sound bad by "forgetting" to lower his key" & that he'd better be nice to me! Haha! He's the reason for the piano at one of the Churches & also the reason for my piano CDs. Such great memories of a Godly man with a huge heart. Randy has done so much for so many, there's no way to even touch the surface with wonderful stories of the things he did.  Some of the words to the song, "Friends Are Friends Forever" remind me of Randy... "Friends are friends forever, if the Lord's the Lord of them. A friend will not say never, it's a welcome without end. Though it's hard to let you go, in the Father's hands we know...that a lifetime's not to long to live as friends." My family will continue to lift each of you up to the Father with prayer. May you feel God's presence like never before in the days ahead. Hold onto the wonderful memories that you have of Randy & may they bring you comfort & peace. My dear friend Randy, I'm sure your wonderful bass voice is singing in Heaven's choir & there's no need to lower the key... everything is perfect there. We'll see you in Heaven's choir, my friend...save us a seat.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
