Verna Jones

Verna Jones age 89 of McDonough passed away January 17, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Jones was a 20 plus years member of the New Testament Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday January 21, 2012 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Horis A. Ward-Fairview Chapel with Pastor Fred Tag officiating. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Anne and Don Boss of McDonough. 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild 2 brothers Dirl Copeland and Toney and wife Earline Copeland. She is preceded in death by her husbands Nealy C. Raines and Charlie T. Jones. Daughter; Connie Shirley and her parents; Robert Pierce and Rosa Lee Bradley Key. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday January 20, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Horis A.
