Thomas Peeples, age 87, of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024.
Thomas Willard Peeples was born April 8, 1936 to Annie Pearl Simmons Peeples and Willard Livingston Peeples. He was a graduate of Griffin High School. He served in both the United States Army and in the United States Air Force with tours in both Korea and Vietnam. He was stationed at many bases in the United States and abroad. Retiring from military service in 1975, he continued working in many civilian capacities.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his wife, Elisabeth Peeples (whom he met while stationed in Germany). He is survived by one son, Andy (Sandra) Peeples, a brother, Gilben (Sara Jane) Peeples and nieces and nephews.
The family will have a private viewing on Friday April 5, 2024 at 10:30 followed by a gravesite gathering at 11:00 for family and friends to share stories and memories before he is laid to rest with military honors.
