Terry Lynn Snipes, born in Atlanta, GA, June 12, 1961, died Friday, September 12, 2014. Terry lived in Atlanta with his longtime girlfriend Kim Davis and his beloved dog Bella. He battled with a long time illness before peacefully passing away early Friday morning. Terry was a roofer by trade and was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves. He enjoyed watching his buddy, Danger, play t-ball.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Sonny Snipes and Betty Joyce Snipes. He is survived by his sisters, Norma Roberts, Brenda Love, Linda Chafin, Judy Smith, and Christy Best; his brothers, Walter Sonny Snipes, Jr., and Ricky Snipes; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home from 5-7pm. A memorial service will be in the Chapel of Horis A. Ward Funeral Home at 3pm on Sunday, September 14, Rev. Lamar Cole officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Memorial Gardens cemetery.
