She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Chad and Carrie Cox, and granddaughter, Brittany, of Guyton, Ga., along with her mother Margie P. Shelor of Tampa, Fla., and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Julius E. Parsons and three brothers Richard, Steve and Jason Parsons.
She was a good mother, grandmother, and daughter, and will be missed by all. Her hobby and love was horseback riding.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2014 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the funeral on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Ga 30281.
