Sarah Nell Beard

Sarah Nell Beard, age 84, of Conyers, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 11Am, with Mack Goss officiating. Interment will follow at New Covington Cemetery.

Mrs. Beard retired from The Umbrella Company after 38 years. She is survived by: children; Mary Ann Holcomb (Jack), Kathy Sumner (Alan), Charles Paul Beard (Imogene), daughter-in-law, Sheila Beard, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband, Howard C. Beard, children; Larry G. Beard and Bobby J. Beard.
