Ruby E. Nelson age 83 of Decatur passed away Feb. 19, 2016. She was a member of Glenhaven Baptist Church in McDonough Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband J W Nelson, grand daughter Kristi Patrick and great grandson Alex Patrick. She married J W Nelson Sept 8, 1948. Survivors are two daughters Judy ( Steve ) Herrin and Janet ( Jeff ) Matthews. Five grandchildren and six & one half great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday Feb 22, 2016 at 2 p.m. in Wards Fairview Chapel. Interment in Fairview Memorial Gardens. Pastors Stan Berong and Ralfh Easterwood will officiate. The Family will receive friends on Saturday Feb 21, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.
