Pedro "Pete" Ortega

Pedro, affectionately called "Pete," was born on July 5, 1962 in Bakersfield, California to Oscar and Antonia Ortega. After high school, he pursued higher education and earned his Associates Degree.

Pete was a dedicated and hardworking man that loved caring for and spending time with his family. He was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan and enjoyed fishing. His prize possession was his 1966 Porsche, which he call "911."

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Ortega and brother, Eleazar Ortega.

Pedro's life will forever be remembered and cherished by his four children, Peter Ortega, Joey Ortega, Isaac Ortega and Alexis Ortega and their mother, Josefina Ortega; four grandchildren, Jayden Ortega , Emilia Ortega, Lincoln Ortega and Christian Ortega; mother, Antonia Ortega; siblings, Oscar Ortega, Ray Ortega, Marcos Ortega, Steven Ortega and Lawrence Ortega; companion, Monika Zuniga; a host of other relatives and family friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a walk-thru visitation on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home-Fairview Chapel, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
