Mother was such a blessing to us all and everyone she came in contact with. She always had something positive to say during the worst of times, she never lost faith in everything turning out okay She was always there for all of us and our friends in our times of need and in happiness. To know Her Was to Love Her

Just hearing "Aunt Mo" through the years always brought a smile to my face. Such unbridled enthusiasm for whatever she was doing or wherever a conversation led her. A lasting memory: her and my mom(Aunt Sissy)sitting out on the deck overlooking the river, deep in conversation on one topic or another. "Look sister...a caterpillar!" declares Aunt Mo, as it inches slowly across the deck. Well, they talked about that caterpillar for the next ten minutes, with such enthusiasm, until it had finally crawled out of sight. They then jumped right back into the previous conversation, exactly where they had left off, and with such ease. These sisters, truly engaged and focused on any topic, large or small.  A lesson there for us all.

Some of the dearest and most treasured memories of my life are tied to my mother's little sister and the riotous chaos of family get togethers at Grandmother's house. Aunt Mo was the most cheerful and unflappable person! Her kindness, quick laugh and high energy made every visit an event. She will live forever in our hearts, and brings smiles to our faces even in our grief at her passing. There was a heavenly host waiting for her - I can see them all and their joyful reunion is bright in my eyes. I love you, Aunt Mo.

Prayers for strength and comfort during this time. Your Mother was one of the sweetest ladies I know. She always had a smile even when she was not feeling well. She loved her children so much and only wanted them to take care of each other and be happy. She always made me smile and feel blessed to know her.

My dear Cousins - Thinking of you all - remembering so many wonderful times we had through the years as we all grew up and shared so many holidays and family outings and weeks of summer fun. Our mothers are remarkable - they knew how to handle a houseful of kids and managed to keep us all fed, too!  Whether on a road trip to Florida or a picnic at Stone Mountain, precious memories were made in all of our hearts.  Frank has so aptly described her love for life and people - and we are blessed to share such memories.  We love you all.

Aunt Mo was always special to me.  As a child I would beg Great-Grandmommy to visit her.  And every time she would say "Ohhh there is my little friend".  How I loved to be around her! Wonderful memories we shared.  For example: nursing a baby possum we found under her fridge - she gave me powdered milk and a baggy.  She took me to get an inhaler when I was a child and having an attack.  Then years later the tables were turned.  I, respiratory therapist, came upon her as my patient having an attack so I helped her.  That visit at Henry Medical center with just me and her was priceless.  Even though I wasn't physically close to her - we still loved each other as though I was living right next door. I learned that Family bonds cannot be broken by distance or time.  My heart is with you all today in remembrance of her remarkable life. Much love to you all.

I know Mrs. Mozelle will be missed dearly.   She was a very special lady and I am blessed to have known her.

To Buddy, Lynn, Mary and all the children and grandchildren...please accept my deepest heartfelt sympathies in this loss of your Mom, Grandmother and Great Grandmother...

She always seemed to master the required "energy of the moment" that it took to handle all that was around her.  Memories or her quick laugh and happy smile, while often being called to manage so many varied events and responsibilities while also trying to somehow oversee of all of our "kid-crazy stunts" and "shenanigans" always seemed to make being around her easy and enjoyable and when we were together.  Her ability to kinda just "roll with it" also often demonstrated the grace required to "embrace it" within the greater context of the vitality of "family and others".  Her resilience during life's "tough times", was also among the many reasons why she was loved so dearly, not only by her husband and kids, but by many others who relished in her optimism and embracing spirit.  

Although "life" often got in the way of visiting with one another as often as we would have liked, that will never dilute the wonderful memories I have of the effervescent and beloved family member I was blessed to call, "Aunt Mo".  

May the Lord Christ, in His omnipotence wisdom, love and grace especially comfort your hearts as her immediate family during these and the days to come, as well as each of the others of us who loved her and who now grieve with you during this time of loss.

Mary and Hershell, Buddy and Lynn.and Mitchell family....my heart goes out to you in the loss of your Mother and my dear neighbor and friend of many years..My girls grew up just a few "country blocks" from all of you and our lives became intertwined with the Mitchell clan soon after we moved from the city to Stockbridge

Mozelle was a beautiful woman, with black hair and flashing brown eyes...and always had a welcoming smile .. but her real beauty was deep inside her heart and would flow out through her encouraging words and her uplifting spirit..

Mary & all of your family, extending to you the deepest of sympathy. I can only add on to what others have said - she was such a sweet and kind lady and always welcoming.  She was a special lady and I know you will miss her dearly.  All of you are in my prayers and thoughts especially now as you all come together to honor her and celebrate her life.  Wishing you God's grace in the days and weeks ahead in that special way that only He can do.

Mary, Buddy and Mitchell family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Mozelle.  I have fond memories of being with her at Stockbridge High School during track meets, basketball and football and working the concession stand.  She was such a nice and friendly person to everyone and was always there when you needed her.  Know that you all have another guardian angel watching over you.
