Michael Alan Swinson

Mike was born on January 13, 1966 in Savannah, GA to Dale and Ophelia Swinson. Mike was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and friend to many. He was married to Anja Deering Swinson for 28 years and they have two sons, Michael Jr. and Matthew Swinson.

Mike was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church where he was an active and faithful member. He was an electrician and owned Swinson Electric.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Emory Dale Swinson. He is survived by his wife Anja, his two sons, Michael and Matthew, his mother Ophelia Swinson, his brothers, Gene and Randy Swinson, his sister, Beverly Knowles, several nieces and nephews, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited for a visitation on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281. A Celebration of Michael's life will be held at 1:00PM at Horis A. Ward's Fairview Chapel. Immediately following will be a graveside committal service in Fairview Memorial Gardens, 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, GA 30281.
