Very sorry to hear of Matt’s passing. I met Matt in 2003 at Temple Sinai. We became good friends and for 5-6 years, he went to Nashville with me where I pitched songs to NSAI on music row. 
   Matt loved to play bluegrass at multiple venues and was accomplished in rock music. He was a dedicated friend, honest and dependable. If he made a promise, he kept his word. He spoke about Yoga and Thai Chi which he practiced. He was a practitioner in the arts of music and joy.  He spoke fondly of his son in California and his family here.

So sad and stunned to have just heard of Matt’s passing.  Condolences to all of his family and loved ones.   We played music together over the last 20 years.  His zany and kind character, excellent musicianship and sense of humor will be fondly remembered.

Just heard today 11/10/2023 that Matthew had passed. Condolences  to his family. I knew him from E.C.F.M.G. as a coworker and friend.  We would hang out sometimes for hours in the parking lot talking politics,cars and guitars. Hadn't talked to him in quite awhile. I will miss him !
