Mary Helen “Granny” Eckert, age 95, of Jonesboro, passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 15, 2014 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 1:00pm, with Pastor Robert Vines officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
She is survived by: son, Walter & Valinda Cook; grandchildren; Joseph Michael & Tracy Cook, Kenneth Johnson & Tina Wiley and Vanessa Tanner, 8 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Betty Ann Crumley and June Dean, several nieces & nephews
She was preceded in death by daughter, Patsy C. Wiley, grandsons, Michael Dwayne Wiley and Otis Andrew Wiley, brother, Grover Meadows and sisters; Mable Morris and Margaret Crumley.
