Mary Alice Conley

A beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Mary was a cherished matriarch whose warmth, wisdom, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. Born on December,8,1935 in Atlanta,GA, Mary was the daughter of Mary Alice and Bennie Matthew Timbs. Throughout her life, she was known for her strength, generosity, and unwavering devotion to Jesus Christ. Mary spent her years nurturing and caring for those around her, always making sure that her loved ones felt supported and loved. She attended The Assembly God Tabernacle, where she sang in the choir and helped in children's ministry for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mary Alice and Bennie Matthew Timbs, her husband George Aaron Conley and 8 siblings. Left to cherish her memory are her children Teri Lynn Conley Johnson (Steve) and Sandra Conley Fuchs (Wayne), her grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Josh, Jessica, Jamie, Jacob, Kelley, her 14 great grandchildren, her sister Annie Ruth White, and numerous extended family members and friends.

She will be remembered not only for her loving presence but also for her many family meals cooked, her smile, her love of Jesus shared with all that know her, and her hugs. Mary will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on through the many lives she touched and the values she instilled in her family. Her life was a testament to the power of Christ's love, the importance of family, and the joy that comes from simple moments of togetherness.

A visitation of family and friends will be held for Mary on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Horis A. Ward - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. A celebration of her life will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in Ward's Chapel. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
