Marvin E. Walden, age 88, of Stockbridge passed away Feb. 22, 2015. Marvin was a long time member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Stockbridge and Lodge 691 FA&M. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He was predeceased by wife, Evia Neil Walden in 2013 and brother, Walter T. Walden in 1980. Survived by four children, Jean W. Calvert and longtime companion Ernest (Dee) Revills, Marvin T. Walden, Donald R. Walden and Nona W. Heinzen and longtime companion David Rogers, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, sister, Claudine W. Ricks, two brothers, Raymond E. Walden and Ralph Walden and wife Joyce, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at 1:00pm at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel with Candy Thacker officiating. Interment in the Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015 at the funeral home from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
