She had resided at Oak Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, since 2017.
Marion was born Nov. 18, 1933 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, to Frank and Julie (Spilgus) Dukus.
She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Wyandotte, Michigan, and married Herbert F. Lynn. Together, they lived in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan, prior to settling in Conyers in 1975. Over the years, she held a variety of part-time jobs while raising her family.
Marion loved watching Atlanta Braves games, playing bingo, visiting casinos and completing word searches, as well as spending time with her family and beloved husband of nearly 50 years. Her Christian faith guided her throughout life.
She is survived by her six children: Bill (Vicki) Lynn, of Greensboro; Michael (Mary) Lynn, of Greensburg, Pennsylvania; Diane Hyatt and Maurice Sirchia, of Eatonton; Terry (Rhonda) Lynn, of Grayson; Kathy (Jeff) Tuten, of Grayson; and Julie Putnam and Dennis Bolin, of Milledgeville; eight grandchildren: Charles Roberts and Tenise Jamison, of Covington; James Roberts, of Conyers; Melissa (Marty) Wells, of Covington; Erica (Anthony) Cebzanov, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Marshall Patrick and Brittany Schuetz, of Covington; Ashley Thompson, of Covington; Phillip (Tiffany) Lynn, of Leland, North Carolina; Jeffery (Sabrina) Hyatt, of Pendergrass; Vicki Lynn, of Loganville; Holly Lynn, of Loganville; and Julia Putnam; 12 great-grandchildren; and brother Robert Dukus, of Trenton, Michigan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert F. Lynn, in 2004, and brother William Dukus.
Friends will be received starting at 1 p.m. Friday, at Scot Ward Funeral Services, Conyers, until the 2 p.m. funeral service. Interment will follow at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, Conyers. Flowers may be sent to the funeral home at 699 American Legion Road, Conyers, Ga. 30012. Memorial contributions may be made in Marion’s name to the Arthritis Foundation.
