Louise was born February 6, 1941 in Sandy Springs, GA to the late Dovie and Joseph Lang, Sr.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who adored her family immensely. She enjoyed gardening and her flowers, raising birds, and Atlanta Braves baseball, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Louise was a member of several organizations including American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and several Parent-Teacher Associations throughout the years. She worked in retail for many years and retired from JC Penny Corporation. Louise was a member of McDonough Heights Baptist Church and her life was devoted to Jesus Christ as well. Though she is safely resting in His arms, she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by 13 siblings; her husband, Levert Astin; former husband, Clyde Henderson; and two daughters, Sandra Gail Henderson and Wanda Faye Henderson.
She leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Jimmy Henderson of Rex, GA, David Henderson (Wanda) of Cartersville, GA, Steve Henderson (Sheri) of Fayetteville, GA, and Daniel Henderson (Milena) of Augusta, GA; five grandchildren, Matthew Henderson of Fayetteville, GA, Rachel Henderson of Fayetteville, GA, David Henderson, Jr. (Nisa) of Batavia, NY, Amberly Henderson of Cartersville, GA and Jeanna Carson; four great grandchildren, Samson Henderson, Mia Henderson, Chelsie Lucas, and Megan Lucas; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
