Lloyd Ardell (LA) Willbanks Jr., age 82 of McDonough, GA, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023.
He was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Lloyd and Blanche Willbanks Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donald Willbanks and his niece Janet Camp.
LA is survived by his wife, Mrs. Zelma Willbanks; one son, Jeff Willbanks (Cristi), two granddaughters, Bailey Willbanks and Brittney Forcucci (Gerrod); three great-grandchildren, Ayva Willbanks, Granger Forcucci and soon to arrive Blakely Forcucci; two sisters; Glynda Jolly and Sylvia Chadell; and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation of family and friends will be held for Lloyd on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel | 376 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281. Immediately following the visitation will be graveside military honors and celebration of his life at 1:00 PM at Fairview Memorial Gardens | 164 Fairview Road Stockbridge, Georgia 30281.
