Karis Esther Gunby Lewis

Karis Gunby Gilder Lewis of Stockbridge Ga. passed away August 29, 2011. She is survied by her husband Guy Lewis, daughter Karmen Gilder (Donald) Tweed Covington Ga., sister Theta Strickland Dalton Ga. and brother Tau Gunby Sharpsburg Ga. and extended family. Karis was a shcool teacher in the metro Atlanta school system, Brantley Co. Schools and a board member of directors of Hephzibah Childrens Home in Macon Ga. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Hephzibah Childrens Home Macon Ga. Funeral servicies will be Thursday Sept. 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Fairview Chapel of Horis A. Ward. Rev. Dan Bosworth will officate. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
