John was a gentle and kind man.  I ran into him at Ingles with Claudine.  You all were blessed to have him for so long but I know it could have been longer.  Well you all know that my father David Bialik followed him in death at the age of 76. I thought a lot of John and wished I could have spent more time with John and  hope to spend an afternoon with Claudine looking at old pictures of relatives of Willie Mae Walden, my grandmother.

The ships left with us grieving but arrives where their is a celebration.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. John's passing. I can picture him working diligently in his 'Heavenly' workshop and garden.
May your family sense God's presence through the love and support of family and friends.

How remarkable that you and the family had your father's physical presence for so many years!  Although his passing is a sad and grievous time, you all can rejoice in being part of his legacy.  He must have been been a good man because that which lives on after him is a wonderful testimony to his and your mother's parenting.

I wish we could be there. I will never forget locking Uncle John in his shop! He will be missed dearly!

Very sorry to hear about Mr. Ricks. We used to buy tomatoes from him every now and then. My parents went religiously to get their tomatoes from him. Thank you for being willing to share your fresh garden with the public.
