Joel “The Regulator” Jennings, age 51, of Stockbridge, passed away at home, Tuesday, July, 7, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015, at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home - Fairview Chapel at 11 am, with Pastor Bob Halstead officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
Joel was born in Atlanta, GA. He enjoyed a stellar career as a firefighter for Dekalb County for 27 + years where he was known as “The Regulator”. He was the consummate family man, spending every spare moment with his wife and son.
He is survived by: wife, Teri of 19 years, son, Jake, step-daughter, Shena, parents, Wesley and Ann Jennings, sisters, Denise (Dave) Kozlowski, Susan (Steve) Bailey, Donna (Mark) Johnson, Dana (Phil) DeSouza; several nieces & nephews
He was preceded in death by brother, Bobby Jennings.
