My Daddy (Joe Michael), my Mom (Frances G. Blackford), me & my sissy Terri.  We always had a blast on family road trips. Best memories EVER!

I took this picture at Mayport Navy Station. When my Dad got better my husband and I were going to move there and take Dad with us. I wanted him to live out the rest of his years with us on the coast. We would live on base, a five minute walk from the Atlantic ocean. While my Dad was learning to walk again at the rehabilitation home he caught pneumonia and passed away. Now when I see the ocean I think of him, always in my heart.

My Daddy, Joe Michael, loved the coast. Everything about the ocean he loved, especially the Atlantic, the salt air, swimming, collecting shells, walking the pier.  I take after him in that aspect. I miss you and love you Daddy.

My Daddy (baby Joe Michael), my Grandaddy (Joe F. Blackford), my Granny (Mabel I. Baker Blackford), and my Uncle Ronny. I sure miss my beautiful family. They each have wonderful life stories, and an intriguing family history.
